My wish was to create something hip, a little out of the ordinary, and FUN!  I wondered if we could combine crusty old metal and chippy paint (which I adore) with contemporary pops of hot pink and orange (which I also adore).  Lovely linens, housewares and jewelry couldn't be overlooked.  What about flowers?  Flowers are like explosions of happy.  I hoped that "jewels" from the garden and natural world could somehow be integrated into the concept.  And the magic would come not just from the merchandise selected, but also from the elements of surprise and the originality of the display.  Didn't hurt that a magnificent retail location on Main Street in Concord became available at exactly the right time.  In October, 2018 we popped some bubbly and opened our doors.
